Vancouver Olympics
Nike Canada wanted to make a splash for the Vancouver winter Olympics, afterall, this was their home turf. I helped launch and maintain this multi-dimensional campaign throughout the Olympics (specifically the digital component). The effort started with traditional TV but its’ home platform lived on Facebook through user-generated content (and our own) which then directly translated to projections in the Olympic Village. We allowed FB fans to create photos and videos (through our templates) which eventually became Olympic Village projections and web commercials, respectively. In a two week span, Nike’s FB page had tripled its friends.
Road to Boom:
Steven Stamkos
When you want to tell the story of one of the greatest young hockey players since Gretzky, a :30 second TV spot won't cut it. Each piece explores a different "Boom" moment in Stevens career -- the moments you train your ass off for, and when the moment is right...."BOOM"...they happen. These shorts were made and aired specifically for TSN (the ESPN of Canada).
Part II: Rough Start
Steven's rocky start when he got benched, and how he got refocused to finish strong.
Part III: Monumental Season
The season when Steven became youngest players to break 50 goals in a season.
